Abstract

Two populations of Longidorus piceicola of different geographical origin from Serbia are reported. Their morphometrics, morphological data and illustrations are presented. Analysis based on published and original data shows that L. piceicola as a species exhibits variability through its geographical distribution, which is manifested in differences in body-, odontostyle- and replacement odontostyle lengths, with certain overlapping values between developmental stages in populations of different geographical origin.
